It’s one thing to create an atmosphere of psychological safety, trust and belonging between employees when they’re all in the same building 40 hours a week. But, what about when some, or all of you, work remotely, and rarely (if ever!) see each other in person?
 
Ask Deep QuestionsDeeply Connected Teams uses a mix of fun, playful activities and facilitated conversations to help your team quickly break down barriers, build rapport, and create a strong bond with each other. In the end, you’ll walk away with the ground rules to create a culture where everyone feels seen, heard and ready to speak up.

How It Works

  • PRE-WORKSHOP ASSESSMENT

    For a 60-90 minute workshop, an intake questionnaire will be shared with the leaders ahead of the workshop. For a half-day workshop (3-4 hours), a psychological safety assessment needs to be completed by everyone attending.

  • CHECK-IN CEREMONY

    The workshop begins by welcoming the group, setting intentions to be present, and turning off all technology for the duration of the experience.

  • COMMUNITY AGREEMENTS

    The group will set guidelines to make the experience the most impactful and remind everyone that anything shared is confidential.

  • FACILITATED CONVERSATIONS

    Team members will practise sharing personal stories, how to ask meaningful follow-up questions that make others feel heard.

  • SAFE CONTAINER EXERCISE

    Everyone shares one thing that might hold you back from showing up and speaking up anonymously.

  • FUN GROUP ACTIVITY

    Increase the energy by playing a fun, physical game.

  • WHAT IS NEXT?

    The group comes up with the ground rules for psychological safety.

  • DEBRIEF

    What lessons have you learned? And how can they be applied to the workplace and the rest of your life?
